Removing the headlight

Disconnect the negative battery terminal

When working on a car, always start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal.

Remove the front bumper

Remove the four 10mm bolts and three clips from the top of the front bumper.







Remove the plastic cover part.



Use a clip remover to remove the three clips from each side of the wheel well.







Next, remove the clips at each corner of the underside of the front bumper.



Once the clips have been released, carefully and slowly pull them outwards from one edge of the bumper to separate it, then repeat on the other side.





Slowly separate them until you have enough space to access the headlight bolts.

Remove the headlight bolts and clips

Remove the eight 10mm bolts and three clips from the headlight assembly, repeat on the other side.

Remove the headlight

Once all headlight bolts and mounting clips have been removed;

Carefully remove the headlight bracket by gently pulling it towards you. Set it aside for reinstallation later.



Then, carefully remove the headlight by pulling it towards you.

Don't forget to disconnect the headlight connector as you proceed.





Do the same for the other headlight.

Installing the headlights

Tap the fuse and wire the DRL harness

To use the DRL function, wire the DRL harness to the fuse box.





Locate the fuse box in the engine compartment on the passenger side and open the cover.



Remove the FUSE IG2 (7.5A) and insert the grey fuse wire into the free throttle and into the fuse section of the vehicle that was removed.











Next, insert the red fuse wire into the FUSE D FL DOOR (25A) in the same manner.











Once the fuse connections are complete, close the fuse box securely and continue wiring the DRL wire harness.



Connect the black wire to body ground or directly to the negative battery terminal.



Route the DRL wire towards the opposite headlight.

Move the headlight bracket

Transfer the existing headlight bracket to the new ALPHAREX headlight, aligning the mounting holes.

Connect and install the headlights

Plug in the headlights first, then the DRL and turn signal connectors. Do not use dielectric grease.

Separate the white wire connector on the headlamp side and connect the red wire DRL connector. Insulate the remaining white wire connector.





Then carefully install the headlight back onto your vehicle.



Line up the mounting holes and tighten the headlight bolts and clips securely.





Do the same procedure on the other side as before.





To install, simply reverse the removal steps above.

Test the function of the headlights

Test the functionality of your ALPHAREX headlights to ensure everything works properly.
